Some of them are as follows:

Such links will connect to the phony websites design to solicit personal information, or they could download Trojan horses, viruses and other malware planned to filch personal information. Even if the message is from your friend or known person it could still contain a computer virus. Check with the sender if you have doubts about the validity of the message.
  • Surf Safely: When you are browsing the internet for financial institutions or other web sites, take care to avoid fraud sites that ask for personal information. Many sites don’t ask for such information, but ask you to register your details before time. Use one search engine, which corrects wrong spellings so, that you find the way to proper sites and avoid landing on a wrong web site. Creating fake web sites commonly spelled address is quite common con known as “Typo-squatting”.

Always be concerned about your children’s online activity, and talk to your children about being safe online.
  • Be incredulous: Many fatalities of these scams may have thought that they were cyber savvy and let their protector drop long enough for a cyber thief to strike. Always back up data regularly in case a virus infects your computer, and monitor accounts and credit reports to make sure your identity has not been stolen.
