Google Chrome Frame offlineor standalone setupIf you are not aware about “Google Chrome Frame“(Shortly known as Chrome Frame“),  is an open source plug-in made for Internet Explorer browser developed by Google. It enables internet explorer to support high and advanced web technologies and speedy JavaScript engines. With Google Chrome Frame, you can Start using open web technologies – like the HTML5 canvas tag – right away, even technologies that aren’t yet supported in Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8, or 9. It supports for Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8 on Windows 7 / Vista / XP SP2 or greater. It helps you take advantage of JavaScript performance improvements to make your apps faster and more responsive. All FAQs and how to use it can be found at official Chrome Frame FAQ section.

However, as usual when you try to download the Google chrome frame from the traditional download page, it sends a little sized installer which is nothing but a web installer and needs internet connection to install Google chrome frame on your windows system. But if you want the full setup file of chrome frame, you must need a standalone installer which Google doesn’t provide you directly. However after some digging, I found the direct link to the stable and offline installer which is a MSI package.
