Where nowadays many computer users are very busy with securing their social network such as Facebook, securing your own computer is more important than those. When you are thinking about protecting your PC from any kind of virus, trojan, spyware, keylogger we have to think about a better antivirus which will give us protection. But there are many antivirus programs on the market and some of them are free and some of them are non-free. Out of those huge anti-malware softwares, I got some antivirus which are really careful about your windows computer’s protection. One of them is “Microsoft Security Essentials” by Microsoft.

Microsoft security essentials was first released on 29 September, 2009 by Microsoft. It is made for windows Xp, Vista and Seven and available for both x86/32-bit and x64/64-bit computers. The main attracting thing is that, it’s free for download.

Features of Microsoft Security Essentials:
When we come to MSE features, definitely its most strong to immediately detect virus, Trojans and remove them. You can choose quick, full and custom scan when you manually scan your computer. You can schedule a custom scan daily and also select the type of scan. It also supports real time protection where it will automatically catch malwares and keep your windows super fast by deleting them. when it will get virus on your computer, it will show you a red alert at the right bottom corner of your computer as below, claiming that it has got malware/virus.

But the problem is now, MSE doesn’t support wide range of features including email scanners, webprotection etc. However I recommend this to my friends to use it as it is averagely good as antivirus software.
The main core program and the virus database are different. First you need to download the main interface program. Then Update your virus database or you can download the virus database manually and install it..
